Smoking is good for nothing
Smokers should quit smoking as soon as possible for three reasons. First, smoking defects human body badly. According to National Health Insurance Service -(1), carcinogen -(A) rate of smokers is 6.5 times higher than nonsmokers. Smoking will squeeze your life span. Second, smoke made by smokers effect other people around. That means, smokers are harming nonsmokers every second. Research team of the World Health Organization says -(2), six hundred-thousand people over the world die every year due to passive smoking. This is such a public harm that every nonsmokers want to eliminate and, this is why Korea's government decided to expand non-smoking area recently. Final reason is about public order and environment. Smokers tend to spit on the ground anytime abruptly. They also illegally throw cigarette trash on the road. Cigarette butts -(B) are one of the world's biggest garbage and, almost 3.5 trillion cigarette butts are trashed every year. Moreover, contrary to common thoughts, cigarette butts need several years to be decomposed in the soil. -(3) This is a very serious problem to our mother nature. In other words, Smokers are overtly violating public orders and also polluting environments. However, nonsmokers overlook their behaviors because there are so many of them doing it, but it's needless to say that nobody wants public places to become filthy with saliva and trash. In conclusion, smokers should quit smoking if they worry about their own health, other nonsmokers' health, public regulations and environments.

Hello Ji Hwan,
답글삭제I also agree that the importance of Chinese is rising now. We can't neglect the power of China anymore. However, should every Koreans have to learn Chinese? I don't think so. Chinese is important, but It isn't necessary to everyone. Not all Koreans study Chinese. You have to point out more specifically. What kind of people should study Chinese? Besides, I recommend you to put some pictures in the post. You can know about this by reading the post "Mid-Term Exam Paragraph Rubric" in Gary's blog.
Best wishes,

Hello Jihwan,
답글삭제You left a comment to my last post, so I came to your blog, too. Your topic is quite interesting, and I totally agree with you. Smokers cause harm to the people around them, and they should quit smoking for not only their own health, but also other nonsmokers' health. I think your post can arouse smokers' attention. You wrote very well about your topic, but I think you'd rather write 'second' instead of 'seconds' in the fifth sentence of your paragraph. Except for that, your paragraph is perfect. I hope you to visit my blog again. :)
Best wishes,
Hyewon Shin
